Main responsibilities

1. To supervise daily the work carrried out by the Technical Specialists and Technicians at the Workshop,
2. To support and to assist the Technical Specialists and Technicians in fulfilling their day to day workshop tasks,
3. To ensure that the repairs are carried out in accordance with the workshop manual,
4. To ensure warranty processing in accordance to guide line : data, documentation, diagnosis and repair
5. To record and clock all time spent for jobs as per the standard repair time guidelines,
6. To supervise, to guide and upgrade technicians’ skills & knowledge,
7. To monitor and keep track of technicians’ overall work performance, productivity, efficiency, attendance records and punctuality,
8. To deliver an agreed level of service KPI’s including productivity, efficiency and utilisation
9. To keep track of technicians’ productivity efficiency in accordance with the standard repair time guidelines,
10. To review the customers’ requirements provided by the Service Advisors,
11. To provide the Technical Specialists and Technicians with sufficient information concerning their work load,
12. To liaise with all relevant staff to achieve efficiency in both time and material usage
13. To ensure that Workshop and Recall campaings at carried out timely,
14. To ensure that parts required are provided or orderd timely.
15. To ensure that the customers’ property is protected at all times.
16. To conduct road tests and be responsible for personal quality control.
17. To keep technical and job knowledge up to date by participating in training sessions.
18. To keep safe & maintain all workshop equipment, special tools and personal tools.
19. To observe all workshop areas including the engine room is kept tidy and clean.
20. To observe all safety rules and regulations relating to the use of chemicals, flammable fuels, machinery and tools.
21. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the After Sales Manager

Minimum qualifications

       1   Automotive technical background of 4 years minimum,

       2   Experience in European cars,

       3   To be able to understand and to read wiring diagrams, topology

diagrams and to be able to troubleshoot using workshop manuals,

       4   To be able to understand and to read component drawings,

       5   To be able to understand about LIN, CAN, 

       6   To be familiar with using workshop tester/scanner,

7 To be able to work under pressure on his own and a part of team.
