Description

• Overseeing and leading the Surabaya branch operations, ensuring effective and efficient performance.
• Building and managing a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed branch targets.
• Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking and securing new business opportunities.
• Ensuring the smooth execution of international shipping operations, adhering to company standards and industry regulations.
• Collaborating with other departments to optimise processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Staying abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify business opportunities and threats.
• Providing regular reports and updates to the senior management team.

Profile

• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in the shipping industry, with a focus on international shipping.
• Strong background in sales, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively.
• A strong hunting mindset, with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree is a plus.
