As the Retail Head of Expansion, you will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, expanding our retail footprint, and ensuring the successful entry into new markets. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our retail strategy and making a significant impact on our company’s overall success.

We are currently partnering with a multinational retail company who is looking for a competent Head of Expansion to help them in this time of growth.

Description

• Travel to look for new locations that have the potential to provide good performance
• Negotiate with the building owner to get the best price, including extending the lease
• Conduct inspections and evaluations of potential locations
• Ensure documents required for new store processing are carried out in accordance with compliance procedures and standards
• Collaborate with other divisions and third parties in opening new stores
• Monitoring the project and budget required
• Create asset, Capex and Opex reports
• Ensure the shop complies with existing standards
• Establish a relationship with the landlord to extend the lease
• Monitor products shipped and set up for new stores
• Ensure that the shop is opened on time according to existing standards
• Provide ideas and initiatives that can help increase business effectiveness and efficiency

Profile

• A Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university
• At least 10 years of experience in retail expansion
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent project management and negotiation abilities
• Financial acumen and budget management experience
• Leadership and team-building skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
