Act As Optical Transport Network Engineer in Project Delivery

Act as customer’s interface for project delivery support, often in several areas/city. Work on project delivery atmosphere and pressures

• Organize/guide/hands on Installation (Cabinet sub rack, wiring patch core optical fiber) and commissioning OLT, ONT, GPON product equipment activity
• Prepare the test documentation for the specific OLT, ONT, GPON and monitoring systems (CACTI, NMS, PRTG)
• Quality checks on the build system
• Testing/troubleshooting
• Proof Of Concept Test
• Handover for site delivery ATP

Act as Optical Transport Network Engineer in Maintenance Services

Act as customer’s interface for advanced Care service delivery and support in customer office, often several city if requested. Work with troubleshooting cases.

• Provide advanced technical support for queries (customer & internal), according to customer contract and internal support model.
• Leading role in complex troubleshooting cases
• Responsible as technical customer contact
• Handles routine work as optimization network performance, daily report, monthly report
• Handles technical requests, provides understanding of customer’s network configuration, co-ordinates for Respond, Restoration and resolution report to customer
• System tracing and protocol flow analysis, utilizing troubleshooting tools
• Ability to work extremely flexible/extended hours to support heavy workload, on-call duties, and communications service interruptions as required to possibly include holidays.
• Participate in 24X7 Oncall Roster

Experience And Education :

• Diploma’s/Bachelor’s degree, preferably from electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science or any related
• Good understanding of physical backgrounds and system architecture of Optical systems
• 0-2 years relevant experience
• Experiences in implementation OLT, ONT, GPON equipments

Requirements :

• Basic Knowledge of FTTH Optical Transport Network.
• Basic Knowledge of OLT, ONT, GPON technologies/products and maintenance
• Basic Knowledge of Monitoring System (CACTI, NMS, PRTG)
• Basic Knowledge of Hardware installation OLT equipment
• Knowledge in systems like linux OS, Windows server
• Advance Skills of Information seeking and learning new technology
• Good English, both written and spoken. Communication in Mandarin is a plus.
• Willing to travel to regional’s within Indonesia and night work if needed
• Have a health and fit condition to work
