The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of compliance and regulatory reporting within our life insurance division in Indonesia. This critical role will ensure that our operations align with the legal and regulatory requirements governing the insurance industry while promoting a culture of ethics and compliance within the organization.

Description

1. Regulatory Compliance Management:

• Stay updated on the latest laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to the insurance industry in Indonesia.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular compliance assessments and audits to identify and address potential compliance issues.

1. Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and submit timely and accurate regulatory reports to the relevant government authorities.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all compliance activities, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure that all reports and documents adhere to regulatory standards and guidelines.

1. Risk Management:

• Identify and assess compliance risks associated with the company’s operations.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures.

1. Stakeholder Relations:

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and relevant stakeholders.
• Represent the company in discussions with regulatory agencies and industry forums.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, JD) is a plus.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in compliance and regulatory reporting within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and laws in Indonesia.
• Excellent understanding of risk management principles and practices.
• Proven ability to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership experience in managing a team.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Professional certifications in compliance or related fields (e.g., CRCM, CAMS) are a plus.
