Description

• Examine and gather data to inform strategies for long-term transformation and enhancement of the site
• Cultivate an organizational culture at the site that promotes ongoing improvement.
• Effectively execute annual and extended financial and business strategies encompassing financial stability, safety measures, service quality, organizational structure, and inventory management.
• Hold accountability for Profit & Loss (P&L).
• Champion the pursuit of outcomes and efficiency in areas such as quality, service delivery, safety, employee relations, inventory management, and organizational growth. Establish and uphold sound operational practices, proactively navigate challenges, and seamlessly integrate improvement initiatives into the Operations department’s ethos.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols, with an unwavering commitment to safety.
• Lead the secure operations of the facility and adhere to all legal, regulatory, and corporate safety prerequisites.
• Formulate a vision and an operational strategy/plan for the plant and steer its course toward realizing that vision.
• Drive continuous reductions in costs and enhancements in operational efficiency.
• Ensure the precision and completeness of capital planning and budgetary processes.
• Comprehend and implement ISO 9000 procedures relevant to the responsibilities associated with the Plant Manager role.
• Attain peak levels of productivity, ensuring that the business attains the most favorable cost structure and optimal value.

Profile

• Hold a BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech degree in any field, with a preference for Chemical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• Accumulate 8+ years of pertinent experience in Operations and Manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within manufacturing (handles up to 100 HC plant before)
• Demonstrated competence in overseeing plant is mandatory.
• Well versed in English, and has worked in an international working environment before
• Handles financial management, including proficiency in handling profit and loss statements and managing operational expenses.
• Exhibit a track record of Change Management & Supply Chain expertise
• Possess robust leadership capabilities and adeptness in People Management, Leadership & Talent Succession
• Has handled 3-shift production system previously
• Strong collaboration and interact with commercial on a daily basis
• Has hands-on experiences in warehouse, HSE and Continuous Improvement
