As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of construction projects. This role will lead a team of professionals with relevant functions from engineering and construction.

Our client is a General Contractor company with projects across the country. Its portfolio covers a broad spectrum of industries from commercial, hospitality, industrial, etc.

Description

• Manage all activities related to construction works from beginning to the end including planning, execution, completion, and delivery.
• Ensure that work is completed on time and within budget
• Work with contractors, engineers, architects, and key team members of the project team
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and codes
• Provide support and input to several aspects of project process including material / equipment procurement, contracts, budget and cost control, risk management, and overall project management of construction works
• Monitor and prepare reports for all stakeholders regarding project status and progress to ensure projects are going according to plan including schedule, cost control, materials management, QC.
• Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites

Profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of 10 (ten) years of experience in Project Management / Construction Management roles,with experience working in a General Contractor company
• PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset
• Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
• Familiar with relevant construction codes, construction procedures, health and safety standards, and management key points of the project
• Familiar with construction and project management software programs
