Client Details

The client is a reputable long-term Fintech player with a compelling mission on giving back to the community, focusing on empowering SMEs in regional areas to ensure financial inclusion. As VP of Marketing, you will take ownership of end-to-end online and offline marketing activities within the function. This includes Activation, Brand, Communications & PR, Creative and Performance Marketing, among others.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy:

• Develop and articulate the brand’s unique value proposition, ensuring alignment with the company’s social purpose.
• Lead brand positioning and messaging efforts to resonate with target audience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touch points.
• Monitor and measure brand performance and make data-driven improvements.

PR and Communications:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy that enhances the company’s reputation and presence in the Fintech industry.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and industry experts.
• Oversee communication channels and manage public perception during challenging times.
• Drive thought leadership initiatives and content.

Creative Direction:

• Lead a creative team responsible for producing compelling content, including visuals, videos, and written materials.
• Ensure all creative assets align with brand, messaging, and vision on social purpose.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver engaging marketing campaigns.
• Drive innovation in creative approaches to capture and retain audience attention.

Performance Marketing:

• Develop and execute data-driven performance marketing strategies across various channels.
• Optimize digital advertising campaigns to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
• Analyze customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform marketing decisions.
• Implement marketing automation and lead generation strategies.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
• Set clear objectives, provide mentoring, and ensure professional development opportunities for team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with company goals.
• Develop and manage the marketing budget effectively.

Profile

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or any relevant field.
• Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership roles within Tech companies.
• A background mix of Marketing Agencies and Tech companies will be a plus.
• Strong understanding of Fintech trends, social purpose-driven marketing, and the competitive landscape.
• Hands-on experience with Brand Activation programs will be an advantage.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to translate ideas into action.
• Data-driven mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
