Webuy Product Managers work closely with executive leadership and have high visibility among the C-suite; they have direct impact on Webuy’s growth and strategy. Product puts our user first and delivers that special shopping experience in the most creative expression.

Able to speak fluently in English, Mandarin & would be an advantage if also speaks Bahasa Indonesia

Job Description:

·      Actively engage with local business stakeholders and function leaders for long-term and sustain product solutions that best suit one of our local markets.

·      Priorities product features with facts and/or data; balance business impact, technical feasibility, experience and implementation schedule

·      Maintain competitiveness and profitability of product by leveraging on a deep understanding of local markets. Analyses, align and evaluate business requirements, feasibility and value of the feature requests with both business and Product teams to deliver localized Business Requirement Document (BRD).

·      Lead the system transformation to support new business models and opportunities which require a scalable architecture on price model and stock management

·      Identify and resolve deficiencies in Webuy’s listing system, liaise with business teams to understand requirements, set priorities and communicate direction and progress

·      Take the ownership to deliver product solutions with high business impact, work closely with designers and engineers to keep up with the agile development process

·      Formulate the product vision, define user stories, research appropriate technical solutions, coordinate the delivery of high-quality solutions, and drive adoption

Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information system, or a related applied quantitative field

·      2+ years (junior) or 6+ years (senior) product management experience in the internet field, experience in product listing and catalog management highly preferred

·      Experience in one of our local markets will be highly preferred

·      Experiences In same business line (e-commerce)

·      Strong ownership, bias towards actions, get things done independently

·      Effectively communicate complex business/technical information with different audiences verbally in writing

·      Analytical and quantitative reasoning. Good critical thinking and data-based decision-making skills

·      Adaptable, open-minded, and comfortable to work with ambiguity and change

·      Respond to evolving priorities quickly and systematically

·      Speaking one of the languages (optional) besides English: Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, English, to communicate and collaborate more efficiently with internal stakeholders across the region
