Position : Human Resource Officer

Position Overview :

The Human Resource Officer plays a critical role in supporting the HR Department’s daily operations and contributing to the overall effectiveness of HR Functions within the organization. This role involves providing assistance in various HR activities, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and administrative tasks. The Human Resource Officer ensures the smooth execution of HR processes while upholding compliance with policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

Recruitment and Onboarding :

  • Assist in posting job vacancies on various platforms and coordinating the recruitment process.
  • Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and facilitate communication with candidates.
  • Participate in new employee onboarding, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization.

Employee Records and Documentation :

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, contracts, and training records.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain data confidentiality.

Administrative Support :

  • Provide administrative assistance to the HR Department, including preparing HR-related documents and correspondence.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, interviews, and training sessions.

Employee Relations :

  • Address general employee inquiries and provide basic information about HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, feedback collection, and recognition programs.

Performance Management :

  • Assist in the administration of performance appraisal processes, including documentation and communication.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to track performance goals and provide necessary support.

Training and Development :

  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops, including logistics and participant communication.
  • Maintain training records and assist in tracking employee development plans.

Compliance and Legal Requirements :

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.

Benefits Administration :

  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Assist employees in understanding their benefits packages.

HR Reporting :

  • Assist in generating HR reports and analytics for management, tracking key HR metrics.
  • Contribute to data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.

General HR Support :

  • Collaborate with the HR team to provide support in various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance HR processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of the department.

Qualifications and Requirements :

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Min. 1 (one) years of experience in HR roles or related administrative positions.
  3. Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
  4. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software applications.
  7. Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  8. Customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
  9. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities.
  10. Familiarity with labor laws and regulations is a plus.
