As an Investment Associate, your responsiblity includes wide range of tasks related to investment analysis, portfolio management, and clients, founders as well as investor relations.

Description

• Collaborate with senior investment professionals in sourcing and assessing potential investment opportunities across various sectors.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive landscape evaluation, to assess the viability of investment prospects.
• Assist in the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in investment committee meetings, presenting findings, insights, and recommendations.
• Build and maintain financial models, valuations, and scenario analyses to support investment decisions.
• Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, tracking key metrics, financial health, and industry trends.
• Engage with entrepreneurs, founders, and management teams to understand their business strategies, growth plans, and challenges.
• Contribute to the development of investment strategies and thesis for different sectors or industries.
• Stay current with market developments, emerging technologies, and industry trends to identify new investment opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and operations to ensure successful deal execution.
• Assist in portfolio management tasks, supporting growth initiatives and value creation strategies.
• Continuously seek ways to improve investment processes and contribute to the overall growth of the firm.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Advanced degree or CFA designation is a plus.
• 3-4 years of experience in Big 4, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a related field.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly grasp complex business models and industry dynamics.
• Proven analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and valuation techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively articulate investment rationales and insights.
• Demonstrated passion for technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Team player with a collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in financial software, databases, and tools for research and analysis.
• A genuine interest in startups, emerging markets, and disruptive technologies.
