The AMS Manager is accountable for service delivery in a specific set of IT services (a subset of the overall IT service catalog) and ensures that these services are delivered as specified in the formal agreements between the Business, IT, and the Suppliers.

The AMS Manager is responsible for managing the business relationship with internal customers, vendors, solution delivery, and BPT Stakeholders in order to deliver agreed services.

Scope & Responsibilities:

  • Manage service transition process from Solution Delivery to Services Delivery, including preparation of support elements for new service (resource, competence, awareness, knowledge & documented information)
  • Engages with the Solution Delivery team to confirm that products developed meet the service acceptance criteria and are to the required standard.
  • Feeds into change management processes
  • Performs defined tasks to monitor and make sure service delivery against service level agreements and maintains records of relevant information. 
  • Problem Management: Analyses service records against agreed service levels regularly to identify actions required to maintain or improve levels of service, and initiates or reports these actions
  • Disaster Recovery Testing of key business applications
  • Implements stakeholder engagement/ communications plans, including, for example; handling of complaints; problems and issues; managing resolutions; corrective actions and lessons learned; collection and dissemination of relevant information.
  • Uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of services and stakeholder management, then formulate action for continuous improvement 
  • Maintains knowledge of specific specialisms, provides detailed advice regarding their application and executes specialised tasks.
  • Provide required system analysis and problem findings to principle support (Example: SAP Support) and coordinate internally to implement the recommendation
  • The specialism can be any area of information or communication technology, technique, method, product or application area
  • Identify non conformity to service management standard, implement corrective action, review effectiveness of the action and retain documented information
  • Continual improvement from multiple source of Proactively search for new technology and ideas to improve provision of Solutions Services
  • Foster high performance culture and build people capability.
  • Manage subordinates and develop capability through setting and reviewing subordinates’ performance target, regular coaching and ensuring implementation of Individual Development Plan (IDP)

Education Background:

  • Min bachelor’s degree from a reputable university; any major however Computer Science would be an advantage, with GPA >= 3.2 

Professional Experience:

  • Min. 8 years of working experience in industry, ServiceNow and SAP experience, and 4 years at the managerial level in IT Solutions Management

Qualifications / Certifications:

  • Experience in service management process especially using the ServiceNow service management system & process.
  • Understand and have specific skills in SAP SD, EWM, SAP HR and SAP FICO
  • Have a good communication skill both verbal and written in English 
  • Should be a reliable person with positive attitude, proactive, open, honest, co-operative, fast learner and works well under pressure
  • Tertiary qualified in process related area or equivalent
  • FMCG / Manufacturing and/or retail industry experience is an advantage
