Description

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, partners, and emerging trends in the fintech industry.
• Analyze market data, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape to develop actionable insights and strategies.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with financial institutions, technology companies, and other relevant stakeholders to expand company’s reach and offerings.
• Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and industry influencers.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment of business strategies.
• Work closely with the product development team to identify new product opportunities based on market demand and customer feedback.
• Evaluate potential new markets for expansion and develop entry strategies.
• Drive sales efforts by identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value business opportunities.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations to showcase company’s value proposition to potential clients and partners.
• Monitor and report on business development activities, pipeline progression, and key performance metrics.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on market trends, competitor activities, and industry insights.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development within the fintech or financial services industry.
• Strong network of contacts within the fintech ecosystem and an understanding of industry dynamics.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results, meet targets, and exceed expectations.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools and business analytics software.
