Job Summary

IT Internal Auditor is responsible for performing or assisting in performing various IT audits and segments of IT audits, as assigned, and has analytical skills to recognize and evaluate areas of internal control weaknesses and provides advisory services.

Additionally, an IT Internal Auditor must demonstrate the ability to set priorities to accurately reflect relative importance of job responsibilities by self-managing and maximizing personal productivity to achieve timely completion of audit assignments.

Job Responsibilities

1.      Assist in developing a risk-based Audit Planning Memorandum (APM) for IT Audit to identify the objectives and scope of audit for review by IT Internal Audit Manager.

2.      Part takes in audit assignment and other investigative work under the direction of the IT Internal Audit Manager as assigned by Senior Management or Audit Committee, not limited to Planning , Fieldwork and reporting stages.

3.      Assist in developing and execute Audit Program for IT Audit Project.

4.      Perform assigned ad hoc tasks, such as providing advice to the business and supporting the business on a specific issue.

5.      Perform IT audit, regulatory compliance assessment, and IT risk assessment, in areas covering IT general controls (ITGC), application controls, business cycle, and IT security review.

6.      Plan, develop, implement, and monitor a risk-based Continuous Auditing Continuous Monitoring (CACM).

7.      Prepares DRAFT IT audit findings, reporting, and completes initial clearance of issues with auditees to document findings, recommendations, and management agreed actions, and submits to IT Internal Audit Manager for review prior to release.

8.      Complete follow-up audits/reviews to ensure adequacy and timeliness of corrective actions.

9.      Participate in external professional education/training/workshop activities, i.e. IIA, ISACA, ACFE, etc.

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience as IT Audit in reputable organization (preferably Banks, e-Commerce, Big 4, or 2nd tier Accounting firms).
• Experience in retail industry/e-commerce are preferable.
• Have performed audits over IT General Control (ITGC), IT Application Control (ITAC), ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS.

Education

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Information System/ Information System Audit/ Accounting/ Finance (GPA: 3.00)

Certification

• Having relevant certificates, e.g., CISA or other relevant certifications in IT or cybersecurity domain is a plus.

Technical Skill

• Have good knowledge and understanding of SAP application and/or other ERP application.
• Preferably well versed with COSO and SOX framework.
• Ability to use data analytics tools (like MS Excel, Tableau, Google Looker Studio, etc).
• Risk Management.
• Have good IT knowledge related to ITGC, ITAC,  System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), User Access Management, IT Infrastructure, Network, IT Security, Database, etc., and other knowledge that is useful for performing comprehensive IT Audits.
