Job Overview

Carry out and follow up the process of purchasing production materials to obtain materials in accordance with the production schedule

Responsibilities

  • Receive, download and check order information from the Planning Department on the ERP or SAP system as the first step in carrying out the purchasing material process
  • Checking material stock every time when make a material purchase to ensure the amount of material purchased is in accordance with the needs
  • Prepare the agreement letter, TOP (Term of Payment), and Ownership Bank Account documents from vendors for approval by the Legal and Finance Departments
  • Follow up on any discrepancies in the purchasing process (change size run, spec, additional, and reduce quantity) to ensure the purchasing process are in line with production needs
  • Make improvements to material prices from each supplier on a system that has been approved by the Costing Department to ensure that the price information in the system are in accordance with the price from the supplier
  • Request a quotation and negotiate to get the best price every time there is new material, as a way for the approval process from the Costing Department
  • Input new supplier data as an update to the supplier data base in the system
  • Update the progress of material purchases as an information for the Material Control Team
  • Request and check the list of material shipments from suppliers before the delivery process is carried out to ensure the amount and type of material sent are in accordance with production requests
  • Compile a report every time there is an issue related to the purchasing process (order, delivery, document, and payment)
  • Follow up or claim every arrival of material that is not in accordance with quality standards, to ensure suppliers replace and send replacement materials according to a predetermined production schedule
  • Tracking and following up on color swatches to ensure the color quality and type of material to be sent by the supplier are in accordance with production needs
  • Follow company program :
  • a. Comply and Implement of regulations, culture OHS (including use PPE), energy, quality and environment to support company management system.
  • b. Provide information about work accidents, issues and provide advice related OSH programs, energy, quality and environment to participate and improve the company management system

Requirements

  • Candidates must be aware about Safety and Health and make it be their priority
  • Minimum 18 Years Old.
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Any Major
  • At least 1 years experience in the same field from Shoes Making Industry
  • Have Knowledge: Material purchase flow; Chemical purchases procedures; Payment procedures;
  • Have Skill: Able to operate SAP dan ERP system; Communication; Problem solving ; Negotiation
  • Have Attitude: Communicate effectively; Delivers quality; Customer focus
  • Understanding vision mission company and safety policy
  • Understanding standards in work areas related regulation of OHS Energy, Quality and Environment
