Job Purpose

Ensure the meeting of the assigned turnover and profitability goals for the market of reference. Help the Sales & Marketing director in the definition of marketing and sales strategies with reference to the market of competence and guaranteeing their full implementation at a later stage.

Position Description

The Sales Manager would manage existing customer relationships and new customer acquisition activities. The job holder leads the sales account management team and its end-to-end activities/initiatives and performance, and assists the team in handling more complex sales activity, aiming to close deals effectively and timely.

The role is based in Jakarta, but the job holder may be required to travel out-region to deliver sales pitches to key prospects or clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Consultative B2B sales acquisition of new customers in key industries (Banking, Multi-Finance, Micro-Finance, General Insurance, Life Insurance, Telco and NFIs), Build and maintain good customer relationships.
  • Drafting of commercial proposals that respond to the maximum extent to the client’s needs taking responsibility to produce proposals.
  • Ensure the meeting of sales objectives – which were predetermined at the beginning of the year – by means of direct selling as well as of cooperation with Business Consultants on prospects.
  • Relationship management involves strategies to build client support for a business and its offerings and increase brand loyalty.
  • Propose to Chief Commercial Officer, marketing actions and/or commercial strategies aimed at results’ improvement and at business competitiveness.
  • Monitor and ensure complete customer satisfaction (in case of complaints, request for assistance, interpretation of the service, outstanding overdue matters, etc.) thanks to an immediate and effective intervention of the «Back Office» office.
  • Creates accurate and punctual progress update reports on sales activities, delivers presentations to customers, shares information and ideas internally.
  • Monitor and continuous improvement of sales team performance and turnaround time.

Qualification:

  • 5 – 10 years of relevant working experience
  • University degree, in economics, business, engineering, Management, statistics or any other relevant field.
  • English Proficiency
  • MS office suite (Excel, Power point & Word)

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent sales aptitude.
  • Very Good public speaking, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills (Active listening, problem-solving, empathy, diversity, conflict resolution, networking skills, etc), with the ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines.
  • In-depth knowledge of Target Industry (Banks, NBFIs and NFIs), its products and customers credit lifecycle
  • Fair understanding of the credit bureau, lending system and related regulations/law governing the Industry in Indonesia
