The Direct Sales Head for Unsecured Loans is a leadership role responsible for driving the sales and business development efforts for unsecured loan products. The primary focus of this position is to lead a team of sales professionals and develop strategies to achieve sales targets, expand the customer base, and maximize revenue generation for unsecured loan products offered by the organization.

Description

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans for unsecured loan products. Set ambitious sales targets and create a roadmap to achieve them.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives to meet individual and team sales targets. Provide coaching and training to enhance their selling skills and product knowledge.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for growth. Stay updated with competitor offerings and market dynamics to refine sales strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including channel partners, brokers, and financial institutions, to enhance the organization’s visibility and generate leads.
  • Drive the acquisition of new customers for unsecured loan products through direct selling efforts, customer referrals, and strategic partnerships.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs. Implement corrective measures when necessary to ensure targets are met.
  • Continuously review and optimize the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline operations.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies during the sales process. Uphold ethical standards and maintain high-quality service delivery.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, providing insights on performance, market trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to provide customer feedback and market insights to improve existing unsecured loan offerings or develop new products.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles within the financial services industry, with a specific focus on unsecured loans.
  • Strong understanding of unsecured loan products, market dynamics, and customer segments.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate sales teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret sales data and develop actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented and target-driven approach to sales and business development.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to unsecured loans and consumer lending
