The Plant Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the manufacturing plant, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, cost control, and operational analysis.

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Controller to join our team. The Plant Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of our manufacturing facility.

Description

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop and manage the plant’s annual budget in alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
• Conduct regular financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance assessments to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare accurate financial forecasts and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

1. Cost Control and Optimization:

• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including direct labor, overhead, and material expenses.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce wastage.
• Implement and maintain cost accounting systems and processes to ensure accurate tracking of costs.

1. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, company policies, and GAAP standards.
• Assist in coordinating internal and external audits and address any audit-related issues.

1. Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory management processes to ensure proper valuation and accurate tracking.
• Work with the logistics team to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.

1. Performance Metrics and KPIs:

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure plant performance and productivity.
• Regularly report on KPIs and provide analysis to management for informed decision-making.

1. Forecasting and Planning:

• Collaborate with the management team to develop long-term financial plans and strategies.
• Analyze financial trends and industry benchmarks to support growth initiatives.

1. Team Leadership:

• Lead and develop the finance team at the plant, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and accountability.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Plant Controller, Costing Controller, Financial Controller, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Experience with SAP or similar systems is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English and Indonesian languages.
