Team and Role Introduction:

Regional LEX team support end to end Lazada express logistics operations. The team comprises several verticals covering everything from the network planning, First mile pickup, sortation, linehaul transportation to the last mile delivery and customer return process. The Regional Industry Engineer will be responsible for implementing continuous improvement initiatives and leading strategic projects in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. The primary objectives of these efforts will be to boost productivity, reduce cost, improve the lead time performance and maintain high-quality. This role will report directly to the Network Planning & Operations team lead.

Job Responsibilities :

Managing strategic projects from inception to completion
Proficient in utilizing skills such as influencing, leadership, delegation, planning, organization, critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives and projects
Assessing operation schedules, processes, specifications, and related information to identify areas for improvement and suggest the potential solution
Devising optimized operation processes that enhance efficiency and minimize waste
Implementing continuous improvement strategies to drive progress
Producing and maintaining necessary requirement and process documentation
Conducting data analysis and utilizing data to inform decision making and to address issues thoroughly

Job Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain engineering role.
Experience in a logistics, Express or distribution environment.
Experience managing mid to large scale projects, e.g. cross-functionally or cross-country.
Experience working with Excel, Python, and SQL.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel up to about 25% within the region
