About The Role

We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team in Surabaya. This is a senior-level role for someone experienced in preparing complete financial reports, managing daily accounting operations, and handling corporate tax matters.

You’ll be leading the finance and accounting function of the company — from journal entries and monthly closings to annual corporate tax submissions.

The position has normal working days of Monday-Friday; includes a probation period of up to 6 months, during which performance, adaptability, and team fit will be assessed.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complete financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger

• Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance, including monthly filings (PPN, PPh 21/23/25) and annual corporate tax (SPT Tahunan Badan)

• Monitor and analyze the company’s financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement

• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

• Coordinate with external auditors to support efficient and accurate audit processes

• Improve and implement internal accounting policies and SOPs

• Lead and mentor the accounting team, supporting junior staff development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting/finance and tax, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles/practice and Indonesian tax regulations

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheet, and accounting softwares

• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)

• Experienced in preparing SPT Tahunan Badan and monthly tax filings

• Brevet A & B certification preferred
