Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for Survey, Design and Planning FTTH project end to end
2. Analyze BoQ for FTTH design.
3. Assist the related FTTH implementation team in preparing As built packages for handover.
4. Maintain Network Asset Data based on As Built Drawing.
5. Identification of sites for GIS surveys.
6. Maintain Standard Design Package OSP Specifications from Inhouse and Vendors.
7. OSP civil and cable design using Auto CAD.
8. Leading all fibre design activities and provide technical expertise on all aspects of fibre design and planning
9. Assist with pre-sales activities focused on passive fibre network design and deployment projects
10. Drive operational readiness activities
11. Liaising with customers
12. Assisting field and project teams
13. Manage internal and third party teams to produce high quality designs of FTTH networks for underground and aerial networks
14. Manage project demand and resources
15. Responsible for new build, customer connections, network upgrades, diversionary works and customised solutions
16. Continued driving of improvement in costs, timescales and quality

Requirements :

1. Bachelor’s Degree qualification or above majoring in Telecommunication / Design / Computer Science / Engineering / or other related.
2. Experience in AutoCAD & Google Earth.
3. Min 3 years specific work experience in FTTH/OSP Project or Telco Project.
4. Experience of fixed and cable operator fibre design, including detailed knowledge of working on FTTH
5. Established network within the fibre services industry (supplier and customer)
6. Excellent understanding of fibre network architectures and network topology
7. Strong design experience and usage of design, survey and inventory applications (GIS, AutoCAD)
8. Excellent knowledge of FTTH topology, including mixed networks
9. Extensive experience with Permit draftings/drawings, HLD, LLD and As-Built EngineeringE
10. xperience conducting quality control of fibre engineering designs
11. Experience of managing OSP design engineers
12. Solid understanding of OSP network design key drivers affecting cost in OSP network rollouts
13. Profound understanding of customer challenges within fibre network domain
14. Site Survey experience
15. Able to work in fast pace and under pressure working environment.
16. Excellent team spirit with good communications and interpersonal skills.
17. Project management or rollout experiences.
18. Good communication skills and good at meet customer expectations.
19. Proficiency in English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
20. Experience in Subcontractor Management
21. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
