Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the futures brokerage division, aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the organization. Identify opportunities for business growth, market expansion, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines set forth by the regulatory bodies. Stay updated with changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary adjustments in the business operations accordingly.
• Lead and motivate a team of futures brokers, traders, analysts, and support staff. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
• Foster strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including retail and institutional investors. Address their inquiries, concerns, and needs promptly and professionally, striving to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to safeguard the interests of clients and the firm. Monitor and assess the overall risk exposure of the futures business, taking appropriate actions to mitigate potential risks.
• Oversee the financial performance of the futures brokerage division. Set revenue targets, monitor financial metrics, and implement measures to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with product development teams to introduce new futures products and services that align with market demands and client preferences.
• Keep abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical events that may impact futures trading. Utilize this information to inform trading strategies and decision-making.
• Evaluate and improve the technological infrastructure and trading platforms used within the futures business to ensure efficiency, reliability, and security.
• Represent the organization in industry forums, conferences, and events to enhance the firm’s reputation and build strategic partnerships.

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in the futures brokerage industry, with a strong track record of success.
• In-depth knowledge of futures trading, financial markets, and relevant regulations in Indonesia.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Sound understanding of risk management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with trading platforms and financial technology solutions.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic market conditions.
• Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential for effective communication.
