Head of Quality Assurance & QC

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control aspect within the company
• This position will be based in Tangerang plant, but will be responsible to supervise all the QA and QC related matters at both factories located in Tangerang and Surabaya.
• Ensure all Quality Management system has been implemented and well maintained
• Ensure overall inspection process on all process stage are meeting customer requirement
• Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
• Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points
• Identify and resolve quality or regulatory issues in a timely manner.
• Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
• Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality processes.
• Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output.
• Review current standards and policies.
• Plan, manage, and monitor both internal and external regular audit
• Plan, coordinate and direct all regulatory compliance, laboratory, food safety, and quality programs to ensure compliance with customer, supplier, and government requirements and expectations
• Control, compile and update documentation relating to HACCP, ISO, Halal and other regulatory document
• Conduct preparation for HACCP, GMP, Halal, ISO, FSSC and other certification
• Plan, execute and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product
• Create various SOPs and ensure consistency across the different functions in operations

REQUIREMENT

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Experience related to ISO 9001, ISO 22000 & FSSC Certification
• Having minimum 5 years of experience in the same field and job position especially in packaging manufacturing is preferable.
• Fluent in English (speaking & writing)
• Willing to travel between both plants in Tangerang and Surabaya
• Detailed person, proactive, self-motivated, strong ownership and excellent interpersonal skills
