Batuta Chemical Industrial Park (BCIP) is conceptualized as the First Integrated New Coal Processing Center, where it is envisioned to become the pioneer of its kind in Indonesia and its surrounding region. An integrated planning and design approach is applied to provide a strong sense of place and recognition – distinguishing the project from other surrounding facilities. This approach will focus on creating an overall identity for the project that is economically feasible, environmentally viable, and also socially responsible.BCIP also applies the project as a self-sustaining industrial development by placing multiple coal processing center, which promotes the development as the center of excellence in new coal processing. BCIP will also include the planning of a new port to expand connectivity with other regions.
