The senior manager will be reporting and working directly with the regional function. This is a key role in the organization as you will need to provide an accurate information to the management for decision making process.

Description

• Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions at the site.
• Responsible for all monthly and quarter end closing activities including journal entries, balance sheet and income statement variance analysis and reporting, compliance reporting and account reconciliation review.
• Manage working capital effectively and drive improvement on overall cash-conversion-cycle (CCC).
• Review product costing, inventory costing, and inventory control systems.
• Review and analyze the product cost variances i.e. material usage and purchase price variances between actual vs. standard.
• Development of costing and analysis of production, yields, and gross margins in different aspects.
• Monthly inventory review and manage annual stock count activity.
• Manage and monitor daily cash flow position, budgeting and projection.
• Work with the business team to prepare quarterly forecast and annual budget plan.
• Evaluate and approve capex request prior to regional/group approval. Monitor and report purchase commitments and spending for all capex activities.
• Maintain a good record of fixed asset register in system, monitor and reconcile the CIP, and conduct fixed asset count.
• Ensure controls are in place at the operations and in accordance to company policy and corporate governance.
• Ensure all accounting and financial reports are well prepared and submitted to government agencies as required by local laws and regulations.
• Ensure local tax laws and regulations are strictly adhered, manage the tax risks and disputes, and liaise with external tax firms and local tax authorities.
• Handle year end audit, prepare audited financial statements, year end audit package and liaise with external auditors.

Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance field.
• Certified candidate is preferred (CA, CMA, CPA, etc)
• Minimum of 10 years’ working experiences in full spectrum of finance and accounting, ideally with strong manufacturing controlling background.
• Experience in managing a small team of 6-7.
• Good inter-personal skills, open-minded, committed and can work under pressure.
• Strong analytical skill, highly motivated and results oriented.
• Strong knowledge in ERP, Financial Reporting System (i.e. HFM), and Microsoft Office including Excel, Power Point, Word.
• Confident with excellent communication and presentation skills.
