Technical Sales Engineer drive the development of the OCTG products needed by our end users to overcome their exploration and production challenges and support them on all technical aspects linked to our products (performances, running,…). Customer projects are mainly for Oil & Gas and Geothermal and some in CCUS.

Activities

– Provides technical support and promote VAM® connection and Vallourec Products and Services in Indonesia.

– Analyses and prepare documents, data and presentation to answer technically to tenders from his customers / in his area.

Main Responsibilities

– Meets (thru webinars/ phone calls / meetings) on a regular basis with customers to provide them with technical support, to promote VAM® / Vallourec Products and Services, and analyze their needs

– Supports the sales team in answering to tenders by analyzing, clarifying the technical points and proposing the best Vallourec / VAM® solution. The Technical Sales is at the interface between Sales / R&D / Production.

– Analyses and Gathers the customer needs in his area and provides specifications to R&D that could lead to development of new products.

– Build promotion supports (sales kits, brochures) and animates seminars / webinars / training initiatives.

Requirements

– Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent

– Experience in Metallurgy / Corrosion or oil & gas operator operations will be advantage.

– Experienced as Technical Sales Engineer

– Familiar with OCTG product, API and VAM connection

– Strong communication skills and an aptitude in transversal management in a multicultural environment.

– Person able to work in autonomy and able to represent Vallourec in front of the customers.

– Rigorous person capable to ensure stringent tendering process is followed up thoroughly.
