You will play a crucial role in ensuring resilient operations by assisting with the integration of recently acquired businesses, establishing a strong foundation for efficient work practices, and providing continuous support to the site’s Process Technology & Operation team during the stabilization period. You will also secure new business through operational support for the Regional Innovation & Commercial organization.

Description

• Ecellent process / manufacturing excellence experience in either food, chemical, pharma or flavoring industry, especially if you have spray drying technology / powder blending experience
• Take the lead in developing and implementing strategic plans at the core, regional, and local levels.
• Utilize project management skills and expertise to establish project frameworks, determine resource requirements, and define deliverables for our core regional strategic plans.
• Lead project teams, identifying and collaborating with partners to ensure timely achievement of project milestones within budgetary constraints.
• Offer assistance and support for strategic plans and local projects at any of our 10 manufacturing sites in APAC, including site expansion projects and the commissioning of new equipment.
• Provide operational project management support to the Regional Innovation & Commercial department.
• Utilize internal networks, resources, systems, and technical knowledge to facilitate and develop operational solutions that address obstacles and challenges, including new opportunities in the Integrated Solutions business.
• Offer on-demand project management and operational support, including project tracking and execution, to successfully industrialize and commercialize new technologies, including opportunities in the integrated solutions business.
• Coordinate and engage additional support from the APAC Manufacturing Excellence and Process Technology team to address specific process engineering solutions and expertise.
• Act as the main point of contact and liaison for the local Process Technology team of acquired businesses.
• Support the local operation and Integration Project team by assisting with integration preparation activities.
• Provide guidance and ongoing support to the local Process Technology team during the stabilization phase post-integration, including troubleshooting process technology-related issues, establishing effective work practices, identifying solutions, and facilitating knowledge transfer.

Profile

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field in food technology.
• Possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in project management and coordination, preferably in the flavour industry, food industry, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, or a related field.
• Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Operations & Manufacturing, with exposure to Supply Chain and Logistics.
• Demonstrate an expert understanding of manufacturing technologies and product characteristics, specifically in areas such as liquids, spray drying, powder blending, process Flavors, JBC, Emulsions, separations, and extractions, relevant to the assigned area of expertise.
• Exhibit excellent proficiency in project management, utilizing tools such as TPM, Measurement, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and project controlling.
• Possess experience in continuous learning and process improvement.
• Have strong management and communication skills.
• Possess knowledge of financial concepts, including OPEX and CAPEX.
• Be proficient or an expert in production systems, including SAP, Microsoft, and Google suites.
• Demonstrate fluency in both spoken and written English.
• Bring structure, logic, clarity, control to complex situations.
