Local Unit & Position Description

The Senior / Lead Auditor is responsible for achieving growth in this sector by collaborating and working with business development and sales team, leading the delivery of projects, ensuring service excellence for clients and playing an important role in development of others within the team.  You help clients implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment to international and local standards. You will get the opportunity to lead and develop our work on a wide range of Food and Beverage services from technical aquaculture services including product certification.

You will be expected to support and collaborate on the growth of this sector and delivery for a range of services and may have specialism and expertise in several of them, including:

• Technical Aquaculture services.
• Audit report writing.
• Training and capacity building.
• Stakeholder engagement.
• Aquaculture report assurance.
• Supporting the sales team through technical advice and guidance.
• Enterprise risk management.

You will be expected to lead project teams as well as helping to grow our business through the following activities:

• Proactively seeking to identify customer needs, developing tailored solutions to new and existing clients through the business development sales teams.
• Leading projects, ensuring they are executed to clients’ expectations, on time, on budget and to DNV quality standards.
• Leading and communicating effectively with your project teams and clients.
• Introducing services from your own/existing discipline(s) to new clients and new services to existing clients.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, academic qualifications relevant to aquaculture, fisheries, food and beverage subject areas.
• Aquaculture background in ASC, MSC, ASC/MSC CoC, SA8000, ISO9001, GFSI Scheme, GG Aqua, GG CoC, ISO22000, ISO19011 preferred.
• Must have 5 years working experience in the actual industry or have 3rd party audit experience and qualified Lead Auditor from a certification body.
• Fluency in the local language, both oral and written.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• A strong interest and demonstrable experience in the aquaculture industry or similar sectors.
• Proven project and/or team leader, delivering service excellence.
• Outstanding communicator, with excellent leadership skills.
• Ability to work in an international team, delivering and leading teams to produce high quality deliverables on time and in budget.
• Ability to lead multiple projects in parallel, often with conflicting demands and timelines.
• Able to clearly delegate tasks and provide sufficient guidance, support and feedback on performance to Senior Consultants and Consultants.
• Able to manage Senior Consultants and provide coaching and development.
• Willingness to travel and work around SEA and other locations.
