Many years prior become incorporated, we were mainly dealing with re-marketing of used computer hardware throughout Indonesia archipelago. Through our fast distribution network we were able to find second life for out dated computer hardware handed by our clients, by selling them to the secondary market ( used computer market ) in Indonesia. Along the way, we were faced with a dilemma of the so called electronic waste, generated from our own refurbish department. Didn’t know how to deal with the un used or broken computer parts properly. After careful searching and many thoughts, we decided to open our own and first e-waste collecting facility in Jakarta, which main purpose was solely to collect e-waste ( mostly from computer industry ) from our corporate clients and have them disposed off correctly

We at PT. Eco Beringin in the beginning focus solely on collecting used computer hardware, such as : PC, Laptop, Server, PCB boards and other materials related to the computer industry. The same condition applied to Indonesia as in any other countries involving limited knowledge in disposing outdated / broken computer and electronic hardware properly. Most of the so called E-waste would end up in storage areas ( because the proper ways to dispose are still not well known ) or into the hands of used materials collector yards. Provided with that condition, we began to set out and collecting electronic waste from yards to yards and from warehouses to warehouses, to be brought back into our facility for proper disposing. That’s how PT.Eco Beringin starts its operation in the beginning.

We have always maintained an aggressive approach in dealing with E-waste by opening more branch offices and collecting facilities in most major cities in Indonesia, in order to cater the needs of our corporate clients and local used materials collector yards. In the coming years PT. Eco Beringin would invest heavily both in facilities and machineries in dealing with Electronic waste correct and properly. It is in our best interest to maximize our efforts in servicing our client needs, as well as be a part of the environmental solution.
