Job description & requirements

As the Creative Director, you will be responsible for managing and inspiring a team of creative professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration, and delivering outstanding creative solutions that exceed client expectations. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with clients from various industries, shaping their brand identities and communication strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of creative professionals, including designers, copywriters, and multimedia specialists, fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
  2. Develop and implement creative strategies and concepts that align with clients’ objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines.
  3. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and expectations, ensuring effective communication and strong client relationships.
  4. Provide creative direction and guidance to the team throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and innovative creative solutions.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative best practices, and apply them to enhance the agency’s creative offerings.
  6. Conduct brainstorming sessions and creative workshops to generate fresh ideas and develop innovative concepts for client projects.
  7. Review and provide constructive feedback on design layouts, copywriting, and multimedia elements to maintain high standards of creativity and brand consistency.
  8. Oversee the production process to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and according to clients’ specifications.
  9. Collaborate with other departments, such as account management and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of creative strategies with overall campaign objectives.
  10. Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry innovations to identify new opportunities for business growth and expansion.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as graphic design, advertising, or fine arts. A master’s degree is a plus!
  2. Proven years of experience as a Creative Director or in a similar creative leadership role within an advertising agency or creative studio.
  3. Exceptional portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects, demonstrating expertise in various mediums, such as print, digital, video, and experiential.
  4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor creative professionals.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and sell creative concepts to clients.
  6. In-depth knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and industry-standard software tools and technologies.
  7. Strong understanding of brand development, marketing strategies, and consumer behavior.
  8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  9. A passion for creativity, innovation, and a strong pulse on current trends and emerging technologies in the creative industry.
  10. Experience working with diverse clients and industries, adapting creative strategies to different target audiences and brand voices.
