Requirements:

• Tertiary Graduate with relevant qualifications in Engineering (Mine, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical), Natural Science, OHS & Environmental related discipline
• Minimum 10 year’s professional experience as HSE, Risk Management, CSMS Superintendent, Supervisory, Coordinating level.
• Minimum 7 year’s professional experience in the mining industry and/or high-risk industries
• Knowledgeable of Contract and Contractor Management in mining industry
• Knowledgeable of Risk Management, Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management in Mining Industry
• Certified Risk Management (ISO 31001, COSO), OHSMS ISO 45001, EMS ISO 14001, QMS ISO 9001, SMKP, SMK3, CSMS
• Proficient in English is a must
• Will be placed at Jakarta Head Office

Job Description:

• Develop, plan, promote, monitor and continually improve Site-based Risk and Opportunity Management awareness, ownership and competency programs.
• Facilitate the implementation of site-based baseline risk assessment from medium to low level with regards to business risks and operational OHS and environmental risks, including HIRADC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determination of Control) and EAIA (Environmental Aspects and Impact Assessment), Industrial Hygiene and HRA (Health Risk Assessment), JSEA, Take-5.
• Facilitate and support the implementation of risk assessment session with site risk champions, risk owners and relevant stakeholders.
• Support effective function of Site Risk Committee along with Mine Safety and Environment Committee.
• Manage Risk Register and Risk Management application across Merdeka sites.
• Facilitate the implementation of site risk audit program to all MDKA and contractors by Site Risk Champion and CMS Champion.
• Drive Site CMS Champions for effective adjustment, implementation, review, promotion and continual improvement of the Contractor Management System (CMS) across MDKA Sites.
• Ensure clear classification of contract (Major, Minor, Labour Hire, Off-Site and Crisis Event) at Site commensurate with minimum requirements to comply with.
• Facilitate and support MDKA Contract Owners to take responsibility and ownership of Contractors’ pre-mobilization and contract execution requirements such as: Equipment Commissioning, Personnel Competency, Regulatory Compliance, Site specific requirements.
• Facilitate and support MDKA Contract Owners to conduct performance evaluation of Contractors and their Contractors Project Manager as per Contract Scope of Works, pertaining regulations, HSE Lagging Indicators statistics and Leading Indicators initiatives including: Risk and Change Management, Inspection, Incident Reporting, Safe Behavioural Observation, Critical Risk Management (CRM), Critical Risk Standards (CRS), Hazard Observation, environmental management and sustainability.
