Role Brief:
Keep active interactions with the regional manager and local executive team. The ideal candidate needs to have the interest, passion and requisite skill sets to study, making online research of required technical fields and make group presentation and training materials. Keep active schedule interaction with necessary team members involved and track the learning progress with the key members from marketing. Participate the offline meetings with the marketing lead and making active translations in between.
Duties will include but not limited to:
• Learn by yourself via online tools for the basic understandings with the company’s product in technical, application dimensions. And participate the online seminar with the company’s marketing team for the product knowledge training and Q&A for further precisely understanding the product knowledge and prepare the language term book for management checking;
• With the proper language term book (English – Bahasa Indonesia) updated in team from you, you need to generate the updating product brochure leaflet via email and communicate with the headquarter team for correctly present the final product brochure;
• With thorough understanding (via your personal self-studying, participating with the company’s online training sessions), you need to organize and acting as the knowledge power engine for local team (both sales and administration) to understand and keep developing and improvement for the product knowledge which includes but not limited to on-time organize online meeting session and offline training with local marketing members;
• Participating, pre-planning and checking for any potential customers; generating customer visiting plan and review the plan before and after the visit; participate the customer visiting process with the marketing member(s) and actively translate in between the process whenever situation request;
• Participating the commercial and technical documents transmission process, communication process with translation at the same time internally and outwardly, for the questions arising you need to be able to study first by yourself and then in weekly or bi-weekly meeting Q&A sessions, you need to review the questions with the management together.
• Organizing and participating the online meeting sessions per week for planning, reviewing for per week plan, together with the local marketing members and headquarter management team.
• Other work content which may be arising by time, we shall keep discussion open.
Potential candidates are preferred to possess the following attributes:
• You need to use English as a working language: understand English documents correctly, can translate English files (technical and commercial) to Bahasa Indonesia files both by written and verbally with no obstacles. (Online Translation tools can be used but very good knowledge in English is also mandatory)
• We are looking for candidates who are over 28 years old with minimum 3 years’ experience in technical and/or commercial translator or similar work background;
• Gender is not strictly limited but we prefer candidates acquire a good skill in communication, ideally, we would prefer female for this role but if you have good inter-personal skills and communication skills, male is also welcomed.
• We wish you are majored in English, foreign trade, or science and engineering and have graduated with a bachelor’s degree and acquired well-through knowledge in the relevant field.
• Engineer or Sales background is preferred.
• Residing in Surabaya or Jakarta both acceptable because we have two positions opening for both locations.
• Ability to work under pressure and interest for personal development are important characters that we are looking for.
• Prospect to work for long-term rather than short trial is very important to us. If you look for short trial, we will not accept.
Important Points to check about this position:
• This work is not required that you have to stay at office, but you need to have a strong time management mentality and able to acting as the team supervisor and organize the activities by schedule with well-managed material prepared in before;
• You need to have your own work stationary ready before you apply the job, that is your own computer which can be used to generate online meeting, doing research and online work, and your mobile phone which is smart phone which can install and receive the team messages and work content;
• We are planning this position as work from home position but you have to have the availability to participate the offline meeting – we will hold at city center café as per need and also join off-line customer visiting plan. So ideally, we wish you have the availability to come to city center (Surabaya and Jakarta position as per your location).
• We wish you are a self-disciplined and self-motivated character so that we could offer enough flexibility and work freedom according to the role but you have to be able to undertake the job requirement and we would love to offer more about personal growth in career as to prospect also.
• This position will have 3~4 month of trial period in which you and us will spend more time learning to develop an accommodated model for each other to work smooth with satisfying result. If the work result is fruitful, we will make the discussion open with management to decided coming contract period (minimum 6 month starting, details during interview we shall discuss);
• The estimated salary for this position will be 1,500,000 IDR starting for trail period, additional bonus for traveling will be planned accordingly. Based on the work progress and the candidate’s situation, the sum income will be around 1,800,000 IDR ~ 2,500,000 IDR. After maturity, sales incentive will be discussed and checked with the management.

• For potential but not right exactly now starting candidate, we will keep you noticed within 5~10 working days from your application for a online-discussion session to foster our understanding and plan both.
